KetiyaBhendechais an Indian artist currently based in Delhi. Using a variety of techniques, from thin washes to thick impasto, Ketiyaemploys paint to create a sense of illusion for the viewer. The creation of texture on the canvas is of utmost importance to the artist. The artist completed her Masters in Fine Art at the Delhi School of Arts. " I've always been drawn by the concept of a mix of impression that includes any emotion, thought or feeling that evokes a strong sense of expression in a certain way. Neon colour dominates my colour palette as it symbolises the search of joy thus, trying to co-relate my entire pictorial space. Different floral forms and patterns are part of my work, as they tempt me. Its form, colour, identity and how one is more important than other, somewhere similar to my personal life. The hidden pale face and figure shows my desire for joy at its extreme level."
