PRIYASHA BOSE'Sart is the classic example of creativity and dedication. A homemaker turned recognized ceramic artist; her art combines spontaneity with technical finesse.Priyashaeschews abstraction in totality and, hence, her works are representational with an interesting abstract synthesis. In search of different shapes and forms, she explores the territory of clay modelling and pottery, mixing with it the essence of nature. Her works combine lyricism with an astute sense of iconography. The lyrical quality that is characteristic of her work add an important visual dimension to all her creations. Priyashahas her fair share of training and formal education. She undertook extensive training under the pioneering studio potter, Devi Prasad. She has also trained under many other artists including JuthikaBose, Arun Mukhuty, and Dipika Saha. Over her decade-long creative journey, she has participated in many exhibitions in India and abroad.
