With a certain intensity of a genius, TARUN DAS is a compulsive creator. His creative energies and abilities as a photographer blossomed during the second half of his   advertising career. To him, camera is as much an archival instrument as it is of intuition and naturalness—the twinkling of an eye, the fleeting moment and an instance visually frozen in eternity. Serendipity is Tarun’s forte in one word and he owes his craft much more to his subjects than to his lens. His is a non-intrusive, unawares moment-capturer rather than a picture-taker. He has held a number of exhibitions and his works adorn many private  collections.
